Great tit – Talgoxe 

Bullfinch by twines, we have seen many variations of. But I have never seen a tit! So I just had to give it a try! So this is the result out of my great tits. Hope you get much pleasure out of this description. If you publish your bird or suspected of my designs on instagram I will be very happy if you use the tag #crochet_millan. Good luck with your bird.

To make your bird you need:

Acrylic yarn: Yellow 6g, white 2g, black 5g, grey 3g.

And a black wire about 10cm and a grey wire about 30cm.

1 almond and 1 pin to the beak.

Cardboard 10x20cm to wrap the yarn around.

*out of almonds and pin do the beak, cut the top off the almonds insert the pin into the almond bitten. See picture.
*Wrap the yarn around the cardboards short side.
Cut the yarn in half on one short side, so you get 20cm long threads.

Grey: 30 row

Black: 50 row

Yellow: 60 row

White: 20 row

1-Tie yellow and black yarn together with the black wire. See picture 1.
2-Add the white yarn against the black yarn.

3-Add the grey yarn over the yellow yarn. See picture 3.
4-Fold the white yarn over the grey yarn, tie together with gray wire. See picture 4.
5-Turn the bird around. Put the yellow yarn over the grey yarn, and 7 thread of black yarn. See picture 5.
6-Turn the bird. Tie the black yarn with the grey wire. See picture 6.
7-Tie together the yellow yarn with the black yarn, with the gray wire. See picture 7.
8-Tie together the gray yarn , with the gray wire. See picture 8.
9-Clip to the back, put on the beak.
